Social Services Funded Care

social services funded care
Throughout the UK, Local Authorities require a diverse range of care and support workers equipped with specialist skills. Allied Healthcare are able to give you access to a wide range of trained and committed personnel, where and when you need them.
Whether this is on an ad hoc basis or working closely as a full member of the care or support team on a number of packages, including Continuing Healthcare, we can offer appropriate levels of care and support to allow service users to live as independently as possible, and as valued members of the community.
Allied Healthcare Group has been providing care and support for over 37 years and last year we provided over 12 million hours of care and support, a large percentage of which is social services’ funded.
With over 110 branches nationwide, Allied are well placed to provide a national service at a local level within your local community. These services include (but are not limited to)

• Domiciliary Care
• A full range of Older Peoples services including Dementia Support
• Children’s and Families Services
• Learning Disabilities and Mental Health
• Continuing Healthcare in partnership with PCTs

We provide a flexible service to meet the needs of our individual Service Users that can range from a 15 minute “pop-in” visit to a full 24 hour live-in care package. Each Service User is allocated a team of workers who are matched to the individual Service Users needs ensuring they are comfortable with the service being provided and continuity of care.

Our staff
Our staff are fully trained and subject to rigorous CRB (in Scotland, Disclosure) and background checks. We typically provide the following types of workers on behalf of the local authority:
• Care Workers
• Support Workers
• Healthcare Assistants
• Registered Nurses

Our experience
Allied has a wealth of experience working with local authorities and we currently hold over 200 contracts which include Block, Spot, Service Level Agreements, Approved Provider Lists and Framework Agreements. Our experience includes delivery of volume contracts in city locations of which our largest is almost 400,000 hours a year.

Putting Service Users at the centre of our services
We are committed to providing a service that enables our Service Users to both develop their life skills and improve levels of independence. To do this we have developed a number of successful partnerships within local communities throughout the UK that have allowed our Service Users to access local community activities such as work and college placements, maintenance projects and social groups.

We are increasingly providing outcome-based care in partnership with local authorities to support their Strategic Plans and reflect the Government’s Personalisation Agenda. Click here to find out more.

We are also to support Service Users with Direct Payments and Personal Budgets. Allied Healthcare is a provider member of In Control
